About

Clean and comfortable apartment by the beach designed for longer term stays. This 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom apartment is all on the second floor above the garage. Mandalay beach is about 10 min walk. During the summer, we prefer stays of 5 days or 7 days checking in on Mondays or Wednesdays. Please reach out for other stay needs you may want. We do have discount for weekly stays and 25% discount for monthly stays.

Good to know

There are ample windows making this a light and bright space. The kitchen is on the larger size and flows into the dining and living area. For entertainment, there's a small library and about 10 board games for you. An outdoor deck allows for our guests to enjoy the cool Oxnard nights.

Other Details to Note

We ask that since is on the second floor that guests do not run or stomp disturbing neighbors. This listing may not be the best place for younger children. The apartment is on second floor and has a flight of stairs to access. This place would not be well suited for people with mobility issues. There is no central AC in this apartment. We do have ceiling fans in all bedrooms and living area. We also have a whole house fan that brings in cool outside in the evenings.

For me is a necessity to have good relationships with the host. Johnnys people was very helpful and responsive. I wish I could have extended my stay. The house is perfect, clean, spacious,modern. Unfortunately we can enjoy the surroundings. We work all day. Highly recommend Johnnie’s place. It’s always so good to be able to get access to the garage. In my case is a necessity. Very quiet neighborhood. Very please.

Was very grateful to stay at Johnny’s place while evacuating from the fires around my apartment. Highly responsive host with clean and tidy accommodations and excellent access to beach and Oxnard attractions. Appreciated the opportunity to stay. 1 car garage and street parking was sufficient for our family of 5 traveling together and cooking tools were sufficient for basic meal prep. Would recommend others check street cleaning signs. Outstanding stay, all amenities (washer dryer) in good working order. Excellent time despite difficult circumstances.

Stayed for about a month. Beautiful place very clean. The bed were all super comfortable. Has everything you need in a great location with food and grocery options. Would stay again.
