Newly remodeled and expanded in 2020 within walking distance to Mandalay Beach in the peaceful Dunes area. Open floor plan with oversized kitchen island and private backyard with BBQ and ping pong table. Shuffleboard, chess table, poker table will keep you entertained indoors. Take an excursion to the Channel Islands National Park; Main St shops in Ventura; visit Ojai or Santa Barbara nearby, or just enjoy the beach a short walk away!

Good to know

Entire duplex with no shared walls was completely rebuilt and expanded in 2020. Quartz countertops, rainfall showers with glass tiles, stainless steel appliances with an open space concept make the space beautiful and functional. Kitchen is stocked and organized for guests who want to cook. Outdoor patio table with seating for 6 and kids sandpit with toys so guests can relax outside. Note: open for 30 day rental

Other Details to Note

Please take your shoes off inside the home. We do have an outdoor shower to wash your feet if you are returning from the beach. Trash day is Monday morning. If you are staying on a Sunday night, please put trash cans out. We do have bikes on site. Electric scooters are no longer available. We strict on the guest count. We do not allow additional visitors on the property outside of guest count on the reservation. We allow up to 6 adults and total of 7 with children. Please make sure your reservation is accurate as additional charges apply after 5 occupants. Please read all the rules before booking.

1) No shoes inside the house 2) Check out time is 10 am 3) No children under 6 and children over 100lbs in top bunks 4) Do not take our towels to the beach. Please bring your own beach towels. 5) No smoking of any kind inside or in outdoor spaces of the property. Guests who break this rule will be subject to cancellation of their stay with no refunds. 6) Quiet hours after 9pm and before 8am 7) No events or parties 8)Maximum 6 adults and 8 with children. We do not allow additional occupants or visitors. Pease make sure your reservation has the correct number of occupants as additional charges apply after 5. Guests who break this rule, will be subject to cancelation of their stay with no refunds. 9) Only 2 cars allowed per guests and must park in 2 parking spots provided. No street parking allowed per city of Oxnard. 10) Trash pick is on Monday, please put out the trash on Sunday night unless it is a holiday week which delays pick up to the following day.

Entire home is available to guests which include 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. 2 cars can park in front of the unit of the driveway. Shed in backyard houses bikes, kid's manual scooters (we do not have electric scooters available), and ping pong table for guest use. Cabinets in the garage are off limits.

The place is great! We felt as if we were at home! Big kitchen and yard! The living room was also great. There are games, internet, and kid friendly stuff. The beach is near by. It’s best if you drive but you can walk or get a bike to the beach. We ran into some electrical issues But Caroline was on it right away. I definitely recommend this place specifically for a family with kids.

Had a great stay — the place was super clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe, and everything we needed was close by. The host was super responsive and made check-in really easy. Would definitely stay here again!

Place was amazing. We truly loved it. Our kids had a blast playing in the sandbox and learning how to play shuffleboard. Short trip to the beach and located in a quiet neighborhood. Absolutely looking forward to staying there again the next time we vacation in the area.

We had a great time staying here! We have twin toddlers who needed a safe environment and a larger area to play. The sandbox was a hit. It was a easy 10 minute walk to the beach, but due to having to cross the road, we just drove and were able to find plenty of street parking. Minutes away from our favorite restaurant at Ventura harbor. We had an awesome stay.

Johnny’s place had so much room. We had 4 adults, a toddler and an infant. The toddler loved the room to roam and all the kid things to play with. She especially loved the Bluey book complete with characters and jenga. The adults loved the indoor shuffleboard and games. The kitchen was complete with adult and kid ware. The outside was amazing. Lots of room to play and relax. Johnny’s place was clean with many amenities. We appreciated the coffee and treats. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay.
